White Tea - They impart a whitish/gray colour to the liquid hence it is known as ‘White Tea’. Although being the least processed variety of tea amongst all the forms, White tea with its rare character stands tall on being the most expensive tea. It goes through the process of steaming and drying without being touched by the withering process. It is plucked during the dawn. It has a mild sweet flavour and contains buds covered with fine silvery hairs. It is sometimes known as Silvertip pekoe or White Needle.
